Davi L. Hirsch

Davi L. Hirsch was born on February 24, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois. Davi graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign, receiving a Bachelor of Social work degree in 1979. She received her J.D. in 1982 from DePaul University College of Law, where she served as the Managing Note and Comment Editor of the DePaul Law Review. 

 

Prior to joining Klein Dub & Holleb, Ltd., in an of counsel relationship, Davi served as a law clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and as a legal writing instructor at DePaul. After her clerkship, she joined a large Chicago law firm and concentrated in the areas of wrongful termination, tort, and commercial litigation. She became Litigation Counsel for the Beatrice Company’s Consumer Products Division until the companies in that division were acquired by American Brands. With Beatrice and American Brands, she managed employment, commercial and product liability litigation in addition to providing daily counsel to operating company management on a variety of employment, corporate, advertising, insurance, and antitrust matters. Davi also has served in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer at a healthcare consulting firm. Since returning to private practice, Davi has represented health care providers, insurance companies and corporations in the areas of labor relations, employment law, and general commercial litigation. She counsels employers on general employment and human resources matters, including avoidance of potential allegations of discrimination and harassment and compliance with various employment and compensation laws. She also represents employers on a nationwide basis in both state and federal court and before administrative agencies on employment and other commercial matters.
